News From The Investigative Roundtable On Organized Crime

The Investigative Roundtable Board of Directors announces that its 13th Annual Conference on Organized Crime will be held September 14-17, 1997 at the Virginia Beach Resort Hotel in Virginia Beach, VA. The Roundtable Conference is the nationıs premiere conference on Organized Crime, in continuous operation since 1984.

Last year's highly-successful Roundtable Conference was attended by over 250 law enforcement officials from nearly 30 states and provinces. The Roundtable Conference this year will feature programs on:

The Roundtable Conference workshops and programs are designed for the experienced investigator, intelligence analyst, and law enforcement administrator. Breakout programs are scheduled in the mornings, afternoons and evenings. Most programs are scheduled twice, to prevent conflicts.

Roundtable registration runs from 4-6 p.m. on Sunday, September 14, 1997. The general session begins on Monday morning at 9 a.m. On Wednesday afternoon a general session is held for presentation of training certificates.

Registration fee is $95.00. before July 1. The Virginia Beach Resort Hotel offers conference participants a special law enforcement room rate. Call 800-468-2722 for reservations. The Virginia Beach Resort Hotel is an all-suite hotel, featuring a health club, indoor-outdoor swimming pool, and an excellent beach. Reservations must be made no later than August 1, 1997. The Virginia Beach Police Department will pick up attendees at the airport. Please call at least four days in advance to notify them of your arrival time and flight number. The Investigative Roundtable is a non-profit Pennsylvania Corporation dedicated to the educational and scientific advancement of education of law enforcement officers. The board of directors serve as volunteers, and are all active or retired law enforcement officials.
