INTERNATIONAL COPNET.ORG CONFERENCE

THE INTERNET –
HOME OF THE GOOD GUYS AND THE BAD GUYS

Due to unexpected demand and the request for more workshops dealing with new technologies and investigative search tools, the International CopNet Conference has been moved forward to the Spring of 1998 to allow organizers more time to develop these additional topics and schedule appropriate speakers. Please check back often for announcements about the new dates and workshop topics.

FACT: The Internet is one of the most powerful
weapons in the law enforcement arsenal

FACT: The Internet is a hangout for criminals,
frauds and con artists of every kind
Connecting law enforcement and information is what copnet.org is all about. As part of our mission to put the Internet to work in law enforcement, we're hosting an international conference on "The Internet – Your Community Policing Partner". Here's your chance to gain valuable insights, learn new techniques and explore current and emerging issues. And to have a little fun while you're doing it.

Keynote speakers, presentations and panels covering key issues and trends; a hands-on "cyber forum"; a series of concurrent workshop sessions, many illustrating actual case studies; a trade show where selected exhibitors will showcase their services, products and technologies; and opportunities for more informal exchanges of ideas and experiences.
